Burdett Coutts, Unionist member for Westminster, Mr Asquith said the fact that no formal proposals had been received from President Taft need not necessarily preclude the discussion of the principle of arbitration at the Imperial Conference, and added that the usual channels of consultation wijh the Dominion were always open and available to an extent any of the proposals require.
