TUESDAY; MARCH 21. (Before Mr. Justice Edwards.) \ - ON APPEAL. HAYES v. BOTJRKE. This case wa-s continued after wo went to press yesterday. On the Court resuming after the luncheon adjournment, the evidence of John Hayes, the appellant, was taken. Counsel then addressed tlic Court at length, after which his Honor reserved judgment. IN DIVORCE. McELWAIN v. McELWAIN. This was an application by Edward Me - Elwain for the dissolution of his marriage with his wife, Alice McElwain, on the grounds of After hearing evidence in support-of the petition, his Honor idjourned the case. IN BANKRUPTCY. A petition for the discharge from bankruptcy of Arthur Shapton Richards was heard. As there was no objection by the D.0.A., a discharge was granted. An order for the discharge of Mary Frances- Thomson was also made. Mr C. E. Mackay appeared fr.r both petitioners. An order was made delegating the public examination of: Arthur Henry Laug'daio to the Deputy Registrar of the, Supremo Court. Mr Hutton apneared for the D.O.A. IN CHAMBERS. ROSS AND FANTHAM. This was a claim for accounts, and was commenced in Chambers this morning. It is likely to take up considerable time.
