The secretary of the Labour Council, referring to the Melbourne employers' fund to protect their interests, said it suggested a return to strike methods. The employers were relying on false support if they think money will protect them. In such a case, if there was a general return to >a. strike, it would not he the tame, protracted affair of the past. BROKEN HILL BALLOT. Received March 22, 10.13 a.m. SYDNEY, March 22. The result of the ballot at Broken Hill is that the miners will sign a four and a half years’ agreement with the companies.
