The bulk of the workers have refused to join. - _ . . Newspapers are not being published. Rioters attacked trams, but the Republican Ouard/Aikrgcd with drawn swords and dispersed the crowds. Many arrests have been made, including all the strike leaders.
The public are demonstrating in the street against the strikers.
