WANGANUI BOWLING CLUB. . On the Wanganui green on Saturday afternoon,- the New Zealanders played a match against those less fortunately born, winning by 15 points after a very good match. Wanganui play an eight-rink match against St. John’s on Saturday next, and all wishing to play should place their names on the board. The final game for the A Singles was played last week. Collins won the semi-final against Hoggard, and met Carson in the final, winning by 21 to 17. Col'ins thus secures the Club Championship. ST. JOHN’S CLUB. There was again a full attendance on Saturday afternoon, when the green was a trifle heavy after the rain on Friday ing. Two full rink games were played in the B section, and the result of the play leaves Gordon’s rink (now skipped by Hewetson) as the winners, and this rink will play the winners of the A section—Holloway’s rink—off for the trophies. On Saturday next a game has been arranged with the Wanganui Club, eight rinks-aside, four games to be played oa each green. , Following arc the results of Saturday s games:— „ .
