CHARGES OF THEFT.

A NUMBER OF ARRESTS. (Per United Press Association.) DUNEDIN, March 21. At the City Police Court Colin David McLean was charged with a series of thefts from retail drapery shops. He was employed with Dreavers John Bel ford, who was charged with receiving silks stolen from other firm. Both were remanded. Other arrests are expected. It was stated that the police had seized a miscellaneous collection of soft goods, boots, shoes, Boulton ware, and other articles, sufficient to fill five large boxes.
