LIQUOR IN NO-LICENSE AREA.

A "PLANT” UNEARTHED. (Per United Press Association). GORE, January 19. The police last evening made a raid on premises occupied by C. G., Thurston. They found buried .in a patch of potatoes two five gallon kegs of whisky. Several bottles of whisky, a small keg of beer, and two bottles partially filled with whisky were also found in the dwelling. The police at work in the garden caused considerable amusement amongst onlookers. A prosecution is likely to follow.
