DEATH OF MR C.-H.F. ROLLESTON. (Per United Press Association). WELLINGTON, January 19. ~ Mr. G. H. F. Rollestou, British Trade Commissioner for New Zealand, who had been seriously ill for some days, died here last night. Deceased - was a son of the late Hon, W. Rollcston. He was born in Canterbury 39 years ago. After completing his education at Christ’s College he entered the service of New South Wales, and when the Boer war broke out bo joined the fourth - contingent and on arrival in South Africa he received a commission, eventually attaining the rank of Captain. At the termination of the war he remained in South Africa, and was appointed a resident magistrate at Liehfeuburg, Transvaal, a position which he occupied for some years. In 1908 he received the appointment of British Trade Commissioner for New Zealand. His death was due to a clot of blood on the brain. Deceased was a son-in-law of Mr. H. D. Bell, K.C.. Wellington
