■.The Borough Council will, hold a special meeting, this evening to consider the appointment of a Borough Engineer in succession. to the late Mr Russell. Jf- Povnter (chairman of the Tramway Committee) stated .last evening that the improvements made to the Glasgow. Street, track- some time since were standing well.
