The Bank of Australasia has declared a dividend of 12 per cent, and a bonus of 16s, added £50,000 to the reserve, £IB.OOO to the premises’ account, and carried forward £15,000.

JACKSON AND CO.’S HORSE FAIR. Freeman H. Jackson and Co. held their horse fair to-day, when there was a good entry in all classes. There was a large attendance, one Melbourne buyer in particular operating very freely. Up to the hour of going to press, hacks (broken) had been selling, according to class, at £4, £6, £9 2s 6d, £l3 ss, up to £lB. A number of unbroken harness horses changed hands before the sale at from £ls to £2O.

DALGETY AND CO.’S WAVEELEY SALE. At Messrs Dalgety and Co.’s Waverley sale held yesterday no shec-n were sold. Cattle were sold as follow:—Weaners, to £3; springing heifers (good), £5, £5 ss. £5 10s, £6, £6 16s, to £7 2s 6d; springing heifers (backward sorts), £4, £4 ss, £4 10s, £4 16s, to £5; dairy cows. £4 10s, £5, £5 ss. £6, £6 10s, to £7 7s. At the firm’s Waverley sale at the corresponding time of last year, springing cows fetched from £4 5s to £4 10s, forward empty cows to £5 2s 6d. and springing heifers £2 14s 6d to £2 19s.
