WANGANUI SCHOOL COMMITTEE

At an adourned meeting of the Wanganui School Committee, held this morning, Mr. W. Bruce was unanimously re-elected chairman, and Mr. F. G.'Newcombe secretary and treasurer. , The following sub-committccs were set up;— To represent the committee on the Technical School Committee;— Messrs W. Bruce, A. Russell, and Rev. J. D. McKenzie. On the D.H. School baths committee; —Messrs. W. Bruce, P. H. Haase, and W. Knuckey. Grounds’ committee;—D. H. School— Messrs. N. G. Armstrong, P. H. Haase, and A. Russell. Queens Park and Infants’ Schools—Messrs Andrew Thomson, T. B. Williams, and Rev. J. D. McKenzie. St. John’s School—Mr W. Knuckey. Visiting committees;— Messrs. N. G. Armstrong and T. B. Williams; Mrs. M. E. Comyns and Mr. A. Russell; Rev. J. D. McKenzie and Mr. A. Thomson; Messrs. P. H. Haase and W. Knuckey; It was resolved to hold the usual monthly meetings on the second Monday in each month, at 7.30 in the evening, at the D.H. School.
