SENT TO SIBERIA. Press Association .—Telegraph.—Copyright. Received April 26, 9.30 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, April 25. Ten revolutionists at Moscow have been acquitted, and 17 found guilty. Watson, a British ycuth, has been sentenced to 16 months’ imprisonment, and Yermakoff, the leader, ana five Russian lads have been sent to Siberia for life. RUSSIAN POLICE METHODS. A Strange Story. Received April 26, 9.30 a.m. LONDON, April 25. Tlie Daily News records a strange story of Yermakoff accusing his wife’s lover (Kvartalnoff) of being the leader of a gang of 27 revolutionists. Kvartalnoff retaliated by accusing Yermakoff. The police thereupon arrested 27 suspects at random, placed revolutionary placards in Watson’s house, tortured Yermakoff, and otherwise manufactured evidence.
