The Aramoho Zoo.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—To-day (Monday) I am going down to Wellington to interview Sir Joseph Ward and the Hon. Bnddp about the landing of the animals that are still in Sydney. The last letter which I received from the Hon. Buddo was on the ■lth of April. He does not seem to give way or make anv further effort to grant me the permit, and I am beginning to think he has gone to sleep over the matter. I may also state that I have named my lion and lioness Sir Joseph and Lady, but now my difficulty is in trying to find a bird or animal that can be- named after the Hon. Buddo. At present we don’t possess one in the Zoo. The animals and birds are all doing well, and I am pleased to say the public seem to be taking a great interest in what I am trying to do. I would like to.make it the finest Zoo in New Zealand, if the authorities will only allow me to bring what animals and birds into the country that I would like - I am, etc., " <r'j; BOYD.
