ST. JOHN’S CLUB. The semi-finals in the Pairs competition were played on Saturday afternoon and resulted' as follows— Hodson and Burgess (skip) heat Treadireß and Simpson (skip) by 21 to 20 and Allison and Laughton were beaten by Williamson and Miller by 22 to 15. J The final Miller and Burgess was commenced—twelve heads being plaved. The game will he completed this afternoon. The green will be closed after today.
