The boxing contest between Kenrick, the English bantam-weight champion, and Patsy Branigan. of Pittsburg, 10 rounds, at New Orleans, ended in a draw. LANGFORD BEATS BARRY A cable message in the Australian Press itatea that a boxing match took place at San Francisco last Thursday, between Sant Langford and Jim Barry. The result of tbe contest was a win for Langford, who knocked his man out in - the 16th roand. Barry is evidently a recent aspirant to letie honours, for American records compiled as late as the end of 1909 do not include his name.

JEFFRIES REGAINING FORM. Jim Jeffries is putting in some excellent work at his training quarters at baa Francisco according to a cable message received f>y the Australian Press on the 12th inst., and his admirers are delighted with the form he is displaying. On that morning he went through three very fast round* with Berger, his big sparring He showed that he can still deliver the old smashing drive that made him famous. Johnson began light training on- the 11th inst. In answer to a correspondent:—Jim Jeffries celebrated his 35th birthday on the 15th inst., he having been born on April* 15, 1875.
