A SENSATIONAL ESCAPE.
MOTOR CAR CAPSIZED. (Per United Press Association;) WOODVILLE, April 25. Another motor accident occurred on the Gorge-Ballance Road on Saturday at the same place as Mr. Byron Brown’s car was capsized some months ago. This car was owned by, and in charge of Mr. Garnet Blundell, and on board were Messrs. Wilfred Blundell, D. Nelson, S. Grundy, and C. Robertson, all of Wellington. After safely negotiating Gorge Road, they’ went along the road towards Ballanco. At Mathieson Gulch, the car went over the hank, and landed in the creek, throwing out those on board. On the journey down the bank, marvellous to relate, all the party escaped with only a severe shaking and bruises, no serious damage being sustained. Assistance arrived from Palmerston. The car is not much damaged, and will be taken to Palmerston to-day. ;i -"
