UNFORTUNATE MISTAKE.
NAVAL SALUTE. (fess Association.—Telegraph.—Copyright. Received April 25. 9.15 a.m. LONDON, April 24. By a mistake the Capetown Castle returned the Japanese battleship Ikhoma’s2l guns’ salute with twelve guns. The commander remonstrated with the gunners, who explained that they only heard twelve guns tired. A full salute was given at a later hour.
