Small wethers 11s Id to Bs. 2 and 4-tooth v.others 11s 3d. mixed lambs' to Bs, aged empty ewes 5s 9d, cull ewes 2s 7d to 3s 30d, sound mouth breeding ewes to 12s Id, special Romney ewes 2-tooths 20s (id, 4I jotli 20s 6d, 6-tooth 21s 6d, store cows I > £3, dairy cows to £7.

N.Z.L. AND M.A. CO.’S REPORT. PEILDING, April 22. At Messers London Bros.’ sale on Wednesday there was a large attendance. The arrangements for displaying stock, implements etc., were of an exceptionally good nature, and admitted of ready handling. A satisfactory sale resulted at the following prices:—Mixed aged ewes in lamb 12s 2d to 12s 9d, empty ewes 6s Id, ewe lambs ?s Id, wether lambs 6s Id to 7s 10d, 2t -oth wethers 13s, 2-tooth ewes (small) 11s 7d, rams 15s, 18-month steers £3 Is 6d, nixed we a uees 355, small weaners 20s, cows ia calf £ 5, gig £ll 10s, plough 86, harrows .£3 12s. dray T9 10s, disc £7 15s, saddle >26 10s, wool press £7. An unusually large quantity of furniture, tools, •and sundries made full market rates.

At Rangiwahia -on Tuesday wo had a ■'ood yarding of sheep and a fair entry of < attle, which said at the following rates; —Cull ewes 4s 3d. aged owes 6s Id, soundmouth ewes 9s 3d. cull lambs 3s, others to ~s sd, 2-tooth wethers 12s 3d to 12s 6d, ■3-mouth steers £2 17s 6d to £3, weancr heifers 355, mixed weaners (small) 28s, store cows ,22 14s cows and calves £4 Is, f ows in calf £4 15s. springing heifers To •H forward steers £2 6s 6d, fat bullocks -7 15s. Horses: A number were disposed ; f, the prices ranging up to £l2. At Feikling on Fridav a small entry of sheep and a goad yarding of cattle met ;”ith a fair demand.
