A party of young people from tlie Putiki pah, who were joined by another party from town, journeyed to the Jubilee Home on Thursday night by motor launch, and spent a most enjoyable evening. On'arrival there the visitors were surprised and ■’.cased at the splendid reception accorded them, as the inmates had the sitting-room beautifully decorated with flowers. A nice programme, consisting of poi dances, hakas, choruses in Maori, by the Putiki "eople, was greatly enjoyed.
