j KILLED BENEATH,A TREE. Charles Treise, a single man, residing at Waterloo (Vic.) was killed on the 13th while robbing a beehive. He had stood back clear of a tree, which he had just felled, w'hen the tree struck the butt of another tree, which, rebounding, fell upon his head, killing him instantly. His elder brother was killed a few years ago oy a bolting horse.
