HASTINGS TRAINING NOTES.
HASTINGS, April 23
Kopu and Polyanthus galloped a mile, and a quarter; Amaru, Seraphic, Merriwing, and Koran did useful gallops; Separator. Sandstream, and Bcrengaria "■alloyed a mile and a quarter in good style, Separator proving the best ; Eeservoir, Dazzling, Glissade, Sea Eagle, Corazon. and Merric Lawn were given good exercise; Fort William. Eosclethe, and Bally Heigh faPopci well over six furlongs; Artie- beat- Appin over half a mile; Maori King and Bridge covered a mile pleasingly, as did California alone; Waikelma, Eaupare, and Obscurity galloped well over six furlongs; Cap sain Jingle. Bunkum, Kiatere, Bullworth, Pollux Boyne, Wales, and Lady Runa all did good gallops; Wimmera. Eawhiti, Forest and Dorando were schooled oyer.the fences. The latest arrivals are Koran, Husbandman, Countermine, and Broadsword.
