MULGA MINE DISASTER.

FORTY DEAD,

Press Association.—Telegraph.—Cory right. Received April 23, 8.15 a.m. NEW YORK, May 22. The rescuers have found several corpses in the Mulga, Mine. It is believed that there are 40 dead.

It was cabled yesterday that 25 men had been entombed by an explosion in the Mulga Mine, near Birmingham, Alabama. I rom the above cable, however, it would appear that the loss of life has been greater than at first supposed.
