At the Show sales of sheep, Mr J. B. Reid’s (Oamaru) Border Leicesters realised 3 and 5 guineas* and his Romney Marshes from 5 to 10 guineas. Mr Rennie’s (Canterbury) Leicesters brought 4 and 5 guineas. In , cattle, Mr Fairey’s (of Nelson) fat bullock* realised .£26 10s, and cows £l2. Ir horses, Mr Bourke (Opaki) received forifour .Clydesdales from £25 to £39.
