COLLISION IN WELLINGTON HARBOUR.

(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March: 30. A collision' took : place. in Wellington harbour to-night between the Wellington Harbour Ferries. Ltd.’s steamers' Cobar and Duchess. The Cobar was proceeding' to Day’s Bay with 38 passengers and the Duchcsa-was coming to town' from Dav’s Bay. The vessels collided off Point Jerningham, near Rbeeneatfi: "’Apparentlv the Duchess suffered rib damage;sbrit the Cobar began to I take in water. Both veeseln steamed for the city. It was decided to beach the Cobar at Piiiitea-'Pbinti Thbrndbn. All the passengers were landed safely. The Cobar is now practically full of water.
