LONDON MARKETS.
Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having received the following cable message from their London house, under date of t lie 2nd instant: —
Frozen Meat. — Unchanged
Wool. — Sales closed firm and active with brisk competition. As compared with last sales' closing rates merino wools are par to 5 per cent, lower with the exception of wools heavy in condition which are fully 5 per cent, lower for crossbred wools of fine and medium quality a change, if any, is in seHens' favour. Slipes, scoured, and greasy coarse crossbreds are 5 per cent, higher.
The total net quantity available amounted to 100,000 ba]es, of which 17,000 bales have been sold for Home consumption and 48,500 bales for the Continent, leaving 4500 bales to be carried forward. Wellington, 3rd December, 1909.
