In connection with the Wellington Cricket Association's refusal to join iv with those Associations who had guaranteed for matches with the Australian team, a> resolution of the special meeting of the Cricket council was considered by the committee, and, after discussion, it was unanimously resolved that the lion, secretary should write and ascertain from the various associations who have consented to provide guarantees for the matches with an Australian team whether or not tluy would be prepared to give the guarantees ottered by them if the pooling system is abandoned— that is to say, that e.ich association to whom a match is « ranted must pay its guarantee for that match and the expenses of the match, appiopriating to its own use the whole prolit - of the match.
