THE IRISH RIFLES' SOCIAL AND DANCE.

The above ever-popular company held their. second social and dance for the season, in. the Fire Brigade Hall on Wednesday evening, when there was fully 100 couples present. Sergeant Nieholls (see. and trea.j »nd His committee deserve very great praise for the manner in whi6h they carried out their various duties. The Ms.C. kept the dancers going to the splendid music of G. Copley (piano), Bartossi (clarionette), Scally (violin), Trownson (trombone). The supper which was* provided by Mr T. Hodson, was one of the best, and was done full justice to ,by the dancers. Various officers and members of different companies were present. The. dancing was kept up until an early hour in the morning. Those who were present are looking forward to such another night to spend with the Irish Rifles.
