ORANGE BLOSSOMS.

Parsons— Wixcey

On Tuesday last, at St. Mary's Church, Wanganui, Mr George Ballance Parsons, youngest boh of the late Mr. A. J. Parsons, was married to Miss Lucy Wixcey, youngest daughter of Mr. T. Wixcey. M T. Suiter acted as best man, and Mr. B. Allpress as groomsman. The bride wore a lovely gown of white chiffon taffeta, trimmed with lace and chiffon, and an embroidered veil, with wreath. She was attended by Misses Woods and Alice Allpress, who wore cream minon gowns, trimmed with lace and ribbon, and "Merry Widow" hats The bridegroom's present to the bride was a gold watch and chain, and to the bridesmaids gold bangles. The Rev. Father Mahoney conducted the ceremony. A reception was afterwards held at the residence of the bride's parents ili Wilson Street, where the usual toasts Y>\sve> (enthusiastically honored. Mr and Mrs Parsons afterwards left by the mail train for Wellington, en route to Sydney, where they will catch, the Macedonia for London. The bride's travelling dress was a navy blue costume, with rose-coloured "Merry Widow" hat, trimmed with flowers and chiffon. We wish Mr and Mrs Parsons a long and happy wedded life.
