t Owing to a typographical error in last evening's advertisement, the date of the Haydn , Beck , concert at Waverley, which ~ takes place on Friday evening next, was wrongly given as on Sunday next. THE CUTTRISS-MILLER MISSION. ' '

A large congregation assembled in the Dublin Street Primitive Methodist Church last night, when Mr G. Cuttriss gave' a deeply iirpressive and practical address on ' Be sure your sin will find yon out," showing the delusion which sin produces, and the certainty that detection and destruction will take place. Though his argument was clear and logical there wa® no denunciation, but near the end, as he spoke of the possibility of • deliverance from sin, the wooing note of the true preacher was heard. Mr Miller san j several solos during the evening. The mission continues this evening, and on Friday evening it w'll conclude with the relation of the experiences of # Mr Cuttriss as a trooper in South Africa.

Another very successful meeting of the Wanganui Band of Hope was held last Monday evening. Several new members were initiated. Mr Ford was the speaker.

Members of the A.O.F. and U.A.O.D. are reminded of the card tournament to be played in Hodson's Carlton Tea Rooms at 7.30 o'clock this evening. All interested members are requested to roll up.

We are asked to draw the attention of our readers to an advertisement in another column relating to the local Baptist Sunday School's celebration of the 26th anniversary, to be held on Sunday next. The Rev. J. A. Luxford, of Trinity Weslevan Church, and the Rev. H. J. Lewis, of New Plymouth, have kindly consented to address the cratherings, morning and afternoon respectively, and in the evening, the Rev. A. S. Wilson, who is expected to return on Saturday from his mission tour in the South Island, will conduct the service. Special hymns have been chosen for the occasion, and will be rendered by the scholars at each of the services.
