The annual meeting of the We6tralian Alliance adopted the report of the secretary, and condemned the report of Mr. Carson, thif Westralian special Commissioner, on the grounds that he did not interview the heads of the Temperance party in New Zealand.
Mr Carson, in a letter to the press, stated that he discussed the liquor question at great length with the Rev. Mr Isitt, secretary of the New Zealand Alliance, while the only person connected with the liquor trade ho interviewed was Mr. Williams, secretary of the Licensed Victuallers' Association.
