RECORD TIMBER CARGO.
Tli<» Rtonmer Pcottish Monarch, which loft Port Huon (Tas.) last week for Hon«r Kong and Whampoa, took the largest cargo of timber ever shipped from Tasmania in one bottom. The Scottish Monarch is a vessel of 5023 tons, and she took a full load of sleepers for the Chinese railways, totalling 5,520,000 ft.
