T&E WHELCH-FOGWELL RACE. PRESENTATIONS. AKAROA, April 16. At a concert in connection with the paying over of the stakes, Fogwell received a purse of sovereigns and divided w'th Whelch .£57, the gate receipts. Webb was also presented with a cheque, showing appreciation of his efforts to bring Whelch to the post fit and well. Whelch hae nothing in view, but would like to race Thoroughgood here.
