Suicide
(Per United Presa Association.) WELLINGTON, March 31. At the inquest on W. Rogers, wflbse" body was found in the harbour, the evidence showed that the deceased w^b" 56" ! years old. He -was married, though it is not known where his wife and children' are. He was a tailor, and came from Auckland in January, seelfing work. He ' had been worried through lack of employment, and had threatened to take his life. A verdict was returned that the deceased was found drowned, and that there was clear evidence of suicide. GISBORNE, April 1. James Montgomery, single, aged 35, 3 roadman, cut his throat with a razor in a bathroom at the Albion Hotel this morning. When found, life was extinct. Deceased hailed from Warrnambool, Victoria.
