ORANGE BLOSSOMS.
A very pretty and popular wedding was celebrated at St. Lauicnce Church Aramoho, on Thursday last, 11th inst., by the Rev. H. A. Humphreys, the contracting parties being Mr. Laurence Edward Bridges, eldest son of Mr C L. Bridges, to Miss Annie Young, third daughter of Mr. J. Young; of Putiki. lhe bride, who was given away by Mr. 1 hos. Price, her uncle, was attired in a beautiful cream silk dress, with the usual veil and orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet of white flowers and maiden hair fern.. She was attended by four bridesmaids, Miss Elsie Atkins and Miss Phoebe Fargie who were attired in beautiful dresses of flowered muslin and carried pretty bou- ?-^ ts of. sweet peas and asters, and the httlc Misses Collets, who wore white Empire silk dresses, and carried very pretty shepherds' crooks, decorated with sweet peas. Air. W. jf. Benefield officiated as best man, while Mr A C Bridges, brother of the bridegroom', acted as groomsman. The wedding breakfast was held at the residence of the bridegroom's parents. The happy couple were the recipients of many valuable and useful presents. Mr. and Mrs Undoes left by motor car for the North on their honeymoon. The bride's travelling dress was a beautiful grey tweed tailor-made costume, with hat to" match lhe happy couple carry with them the fi-ood wishes of many .friends for a most happy and prosperous wedded life.
