N.Z.L.M.A. CO.'S STOCK REPORT.

We hel dour opening sale at Raumai on Tuesday, 24th inst., and have to report a 'most successful sale. Owing to wet weather several pens of sheep advertised did not come- to hand, but we had a heavy entry of cattle, just on 30 head being penned by us. Young cattle were difficult to place, but grown steers (which comprised the bulk of our entry) sold particularly well. With the exception of one small pen we have to report a total clearance. The next sale will be held on 15th December. We quote: — Yearlings 17s 6d to 255, empty heifers 30s, store cows 37s 6d, forward cows £2 10s, light fat heifers .£3 16s, cows and calves 37s 6d to £2 2s, 18-months to 2year steers £3 16s, cows and calves 37s 6d to £2 2s, 18-month to 2-year steers £2 10s 6d, 2\ and 3-year steers £Z 13s to M ss, 3 and 3A-year bullocks £4 18s 6d to J>s 4s, forward bullocks £o^, 4s, bulls £4 10s.
