The committee of the Wanganui Metropolitan Jockey Club have written to the various clubs under their jurisdiction to ascertain if they are favourable t"» .the appointment of stipendiary Awards to act at the meetings of the Wanjjauai district clubs. If there is general agreement on the principle the committee will call a meeting of delegates to arrange the method of appointment and the salary to be paid.
