Charles Dean, and old pensioner, who lived alone in a house at East Winton, was burned to death on Saturday night or Sunday morning. Early on Sunday morning it was noticed that Dean's house i was a smocking ruin, the body being found among the debris. Dean, who leaves no family, was the husband of the notorious baby farmer, Minnie Dean, who was hanged some years ago.
