German Undercutting.
ADELAIDE, October 5.
German companies have secured a contract to supply 10,000 tons of coke to -flic Wallaroo smelting works. It is stated that this is owing to cheap freights by arriving wheat ships, which enable the German cokemakers to undercut the Australian cokemakers out of the market.
