(Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCSURCH, October 1. Mr T. E. Taylor received a petition from 1100 voters of Christchurch North, prayiu<? Mm to contest the seat at the next elecfton. To the deputation which presented fhe petition, Mr Taylor consented to stand Against Sr C. M. Gray, the sitting member. Mr 1 \ylor say 6he will be an Indeipj|dent, w,£h no party pledge.
