SUVA, September 30.

The United States cruisers Tennessee (flagship, Admiral Seaby) and Washington with two torpedo destroyers arrived at Apia on the 21st inst., and anchored in the roadstead. The programme included a reception, native functions, Talolo Siva's beer evening, races, native feasts, dances, and a ball. The warships left early on Wednesday for Pagapago. The fleet colliers Strathyre and Strathcona are overdue. The cruiser Squadron is timed to leave Samoa on the 27th, and is due at San Francisco, via Honolulu, on December 4. The destroyer Solace left Suva on the 24th to communicate with the fleet by wireleas telegraphy. She is expected to return to take the Aeon's passengers.
