In connection with the above, I may say that by yesterday's Sydney mail I received the articles of agreement for,, the race "to be rowed between George Whelch, of .Akaroa, und Ben TnOr&ughgfobd, of Newcastle. They provide 'for the roce, which is for the championship of Australia, and .£2OO aside, being rowed on "the Hunter River, at Raymond Terrace, on Saturday, Novembef 21st. Mr. Tom Dover, sporting editor of the Newcastle Herald, has been appointed stakeholder, Mr A* . F Chapman re'fejfee, and Mr G. Hj.
