TO-MORROW NIGHT.

In tha Opera House to-morrow right the above famous singer will be toard for the first time in Wanganui, and doubtless the opportunity will be cngorly seized by lovers of music in this town to hear the voice which Madame Melba declares "one of <the finest in the world." New Zealand has been rarely fortunate \i! supplying to the world a 6iuger of Mifis Ainsley's worth. Winning at the outset of her career the interest md personal protection of a "star" like Madame Melba, Miss Ainsley has gone itom one success to another, until, within the short, space of four yeara, she is able to reappear in her native land, stamped as one of the famous singers of the day. At her concert to-morrow night Miss Ainsley will sing "Lilies" — by the ballad writer, Katherine Barry, alett*f;Tomorrow," by the same writer, which was written and dedicated to Madame Me'.ba, but suited her young protege's voice so admirably that it became hers, and is now being sung for the first time in New _ Zealand. Miss Ainsley wiU be supported by leading artists, including Mr Hamilton Hodges, New Zealand's favourite baritone.
