CHRISTCHURCH, September 28.

At a meeting of the Canterbury College Board of Governors, held this afternoon, the College Committee recommended that the Senate of the University of New Zealand be asked to support the proposal that professors and other officials of the University, and its affiliated institutions, should be included in the Government superannuation scheme.

It was also recommended that the invitation of Cambridge University to Canterbury College to be represented at the commemoration of the centenary of Charles Darwin's birth, which will be held in June next, be accepted, and that Professor Rutherford be asked to represent the College on that occasion. The report was adopted.
