Drawing the Thirty-Third Ballot

There was a fair attendance of the mem hers of the above Society at the Society'*offices, liidfyw^iy Stroofc, Last evening to conduct the drawing of the Society's thirty-third appropriation by ballot. Mi J. H. Keesing, chairman of directors, pre sided, and Messrs J. Thorp and J. W. T Mandeno were appointed scrutineers, am Miss Belle Sarten drew the marble. Th> successful number proved to be 336, am' as this belonged to a member owning mon than one share, he was declared to be en titled to a loan of .£3OO free of interest, ir accordance with the Society's rules. Th< meeting then terminated.
