DOMINIONITES IN AUSTRALIA.

Received April 8, 9.46 p.m. MELBOURNE, April 8. ,The New Zealanders at St. Kilda scored 123 and the Victorians 120, The visitors had a cordial reception on the St. Kilda green, which was in good order. Oliver, Furkett, Wright, and Waxman (21) were beaten by Bastings, Martin, ScoulLard, and Bently (25). During the last part of the game the New Zealanders made the best play, scoring fourers and two' braces, and winning by live. C. Wood (the Association President) on this occasion was opposed to Goldstein, and was less fortunate than on the previous day, losing to the New Zealander by 30. The following' were the scores at the rinks : — Janiieson, Collins, Stephen, Wood 11; Heave, Maynard, Coltman, and Goldstein 41. Morrison, R. Woods, Gravell, and Smith 40, Wallace, Gibson, Findlay, and Ham, 16. Ham scored 4 at the first end, but Victoria made '6 at the next two ends, including a five, New Zealanders only scored two singles in the next 11 ends, wl en the total was 19 to 18. In the next eleven ends Smith only failed a^ two ends, scoring freely with two fourers. Ham never recovered the position, only storing twice in the last nine ends, losing by li 4. dtneft, Shaw, Lecoulliard, and Mason 18, Chegwin, Thompson, Johnston, Allmitt 25. AHnutt won Jjy 7 after a good game. Warner, Jackson, Grub, and Harrison 30, Stubberficld, Waodell, Smith, and liishop 15. 'ihe latter only scored one at the hrst six cuds, while his opponent made 11. The New Zealanders scored 3 and 2, and then failed again ior 5 cuds, while Harrison had totalled 23. In the last twelve ends Bishop only secured 8, while the Victorians scored well, and won by 2 to 1. The New Zealanders thus win the fibber.
