The Manawatu Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting was held to-day in cold and rainy weather. There weie good fields, and some line racing. Concluding results: — Hokowhitu Hurdles, 2 miles. — Gold Duot 1, Claremout 2, Killarney 3. Also ran: Prospector, Pantaloon, and Oryx. Won by a head. Pantaloon broke his leg. Time, 3.46.

Longburn Handicap, 1 mile and a die-, tance.— Waipaka 1, Tangimoana 2, King Billy 3. Also ran: The Lark, #Chatterer, Clanchattan, Flamen, Uenuku, and Probability. Won by three lengths. Time, 1.53 1-5.

Champion Hack Plate, 7 furlongs. — Woodhey 1, Truganini 2, Ikon 3. Abo started: Toeami, Waikaraka, Carissima, Wharekura, Mon Ami, and Lamsdorff. Won by a length. Time, 1.32. Taikorea Welter, 1 mile. — Bourrasque 1, Moscow 2, San Fernando 3. Also ran: Kuruwaka, Toa. Tuhi, Prism, and Hatley. Won by two lengths.
