Steps are now being taken to form a tennis club at Gonville. At this morning's meeting of the Hospital Board the application for an acre of the Hospital Board's ground, at the rear of 'the Hospital was granted, the rental to be £5 per year, and the duration of the lease at the pleasure of the Board. The section i§ an ideal one for a tennisgrcund, consisting chiefly of a fine shady hollow, in which several fine courts can be laid. The work of levelling and laving the greens will be taken in hand at opce, to make the lawna read} for next season.
