Gale on NSW. Coast

SYDNEY, February 2. A furious westerly gale set in late last night, but only lasted a few hours. „ The, s.s. Moeraki,did not clear the heads till daylight this morning. The St. Kilda, which arrived from Whangape, was hove to in the -gale 53 miles off the Heads, and was blown up to the Heads before it abated.
