It was thought probable tliat the Raagitikei sub-Union would agree to play • representative match here next Saturday, but word was received this morning from Marlon that the date, was unsuitable. The local cup matches will, therefore, l>e resumed, and the fixtures appear above. All members of the Rover Football Club are reminded of the practice to be held in the usual place at 7 o'clock o» Wednesday night. At Dunedin the matches resulted as follows :— University beat Alhambra by "2~> points to 3, Pirates beat Union by 6 to 3. Port beat Taieri by 23 to 3, Southern beat Dunedin by 9 to 6, Kaikorai beat Zinfiari by 14 t6 0.
