Another Tram Fatality at Auckland.

AUCKLAND. June 10

A terrible tram fatality occurred in the city to-night, the victim being Harry Elder, a man of about 40 years of age. He was a painter, and resided at Freeman's Bay. It is believed he was a passenger by the tramcar which ran over him. aud that he got off at the corner of Victoria and Nelson Streets, where the accident occurred. He was knocked down and dragged about 20 yards. When extricated, a work that took about 13 minutes, he was found to be dead, the body being terribly mutilated. The pathetic feature wafi that the son of the victim was quite unconscious that it was hia father, and he assisted to extricate th» body.
